The Great Migration, a natural wonder which is considered one of ‘The 10 Wonders of The Natural World’, and  the greatest safari event in Africa. This package aims at catching up with the great migration whilst crossing the Mara River in the Northern Serengeti, therefore suitable for the periods July-October.
Since the great migration is of our main interest this tour will take us all the way up to the northern Serengeti in quest of the great migration crossing the crocodile infested Mara river, the tour will consists of 4 nights in Serengeti, not missing out the other famous safari parks of the Tanzania’s famous northern circuit, Tarangire, Lake Manyara & the cradle of mankind the Ngorongoro conservation area.

Day 1: Tarangire National Park
Depart for Tarangire National Park at 6.00am from Moshi/ 08.00am from Arusha with packed lunch, approximately 4 hour drive from Moshi/2 hours from Arusha to Tarangire gate.
After your guide clears with the permits you will be introduced to an armed ranger ready to begin your walking safari in the amazing Tarangire national park (1.5-2 hours), return to your vehicle and later proceed with game drives. Exit the park later in the afternoon and drive to Endoro Lodge for dinner and overnight.

• Activity: Walking Safari for 1.5-2 hours, Game drives
• Overnight at Endoro Lodge Karatu

Day 2: Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast depart for lake Manyara national park approximately 45mins drive with packed lunch, upon clearance with the permits your guide will drive you through the forest of this pristine park for extensive game drives almost to the edge of the park, here you will witness a remarkable sight, real hot springs. Continue with game drives along the lake and exit the park in the late afternoon to drive to Karatu for dinner and overnight at Endoro Lodge.

Day 3: Karatu – Serengeti National Park
After breakfast depart for Serengeti National Park via Ngorongoro Conservation Area with packed lunch, approximately 3 hour drive to Serengeti National park.
After clearance with the permits venture into the wilderness of the Serengeti for game drives until later in the afternoon depart for dinner and overnight at Tukaone Tented Camp.

• Activity: Enroute game drives, Game drive in the Serengeti Plains.
• Overnight at Tukaone tented camp in central Serengeti

Day 4: Serengeti National Park
After an early breakfast venture into the Serengeti wilderness with packed lunch in quest of the great migration in the North Serengeti, we will transverse the beautiful eastern Serengeti, where you will have the chance to witness the varied landscape of the Serengeti from the endless plains of the central and southern Serengeti to the many kopjes in the east and woodland in the north, afternoon game drives along the mara river, Dinner and overnight at Mara Kati kati tented camp.

Day 5: Serengeti National Park
After an early breakfast venture into the Serengeti wilderness with packed for a full day quest of the great migration along the crocodile infested Mara River. Picnic lunch will be served in a pristine spot in the wilderness. Later in the late afternoon depart for dinner and overnight at Mara Kati Kati tented camp.

• Activity: Full day game drives
• Overnight at Mara Kati Kati Tented Camp

Day 6: Serengeti National Park
After an early breakfast proceed with game drives along the Mara River for the last chance of witnessing the river crossing, later in the morning proceed to central Serengeti. Dinner and overnight at Tukaone tented Camp central Serengeti.

• Activity: Full day game drives
• Overnight at Tukaone Tented Camp in central Serengeti

Day 7: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Conservation Area
At dawn venture into the endless plains of the Serengeti for a short circuit game drives to catch up with the morning animal activity and witness the sunrise over the endless plains on a clear day. Your guide will serve fresh African coffee whilst enjoying this moment.  Return to camp for breakfast and continue with game drives until later at noon depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Arrive in time at the Ngorongoro crater rim for an evening scenery walk, your guide will introduce you to an armed ranger who will guide you on this breathtaking experience.
Drive for dinner and overnight at Rhino lodge.

Day 8: The Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast descend down the world’s largest unbroken crater for extensive game drives, later in the afternoon ascend and drive to Moshi 4.5Hrs / Arusha 2.5Hrs or drop off at the airport.
Optional: Maasai cultural interaction 1 hour

• Activity: Crater floor Game drives, Maasai cultural interaction (optional)
