10 Days – Premium Safari

Your epic safari adventure awaits for you. After breakfast depart for Tarangire National Park from Arusha with packed lunch, approximately 2 hours from Arusha to Tarangire National Park.
After your guide clears with the permits you will be introduced to an armed ranger ready to begin your walking safari in the amazing Tarangire national park (1.5-2 hours), return to your vehicle and later proceed with game drives. Exit the park later in the afternoon and drive to Tarangire Treetops for dinner and overnight.

• Activity: Walking Safari for 1.5-2 hours, Game drives.
• Overnight at Tarangire Treetops.

After breakfast depart for Lake Manyara National Park approximately 1.0 hour drive with packed lunch, upon clearance with the permits your guide will drive you through the forest of this pristine park for extensive game drives almost to the edge of the park, here you will witness a remarkable sight, real hot springs. Continue with game drives along the lake and depart for dinner and overnight in late afternoon at Lake Manyara Tree Lodge.

After breakfast depart for Serengeti National Park via Ngorongoro Conservation Area with packed lunch, approximately 5 hour drive.
Arrive Naabi hill gate in time for lunch, thereafter your guide clears out with the permits. Proceed with en route game drives to the heart of Serengeti, Seronera renowned for its abundance of resident wildlife. Continue with game drives until later in the late afternoon. Depart for dinner and overnight in the heart of Central Serengeti at Four Seasons – Horizon Room Waterhole View.
This luxury camp has a spectacular and secluded location, giving you the opportunity to fully relax and enjoy the view of the magnificent Serengeti.

• Activity: Enroute game drives, Game drive in the Serengeti Plains.
• Overnight at Four Seasons – Savannah Room Water Hole View.

After an early breakfast venture into the Serengeti wilderness with packed lunch for full day game drives. Your guide will find a pristine location for bush lunch proceed with game drives until later in the late afternoon depart to camp for dinner and overnight.

• Activity: Full day game drives.
• Overnight at Four Seasons – Savannah Room Water Hole View.

After breakfast venture into the Serengeti wilderness with packed lunch for full day game drives or decide to return to the lodge for hot lunch and head out later in the afternoon when the sun is cooler for evening game viewing. Later in the late afternoon depart to camp for dinner and overnight.

Optional Extras: Balloon Safari 05.30 am – 09.30 am, 1 hour Balloon flight at dawn over the Serengeti Plains and bush breakfast, thereafter proceed with game drives.

After an early breakfast venture into the wilderness of the Serengeti National Park for early morning game drives with packed lunch. Continue with game drives until noon hours and depart for Ngorongoro Conservation Area, en route game drives in the Conservation area arriving in time for an evening Ngorongoro Crater scenery walk. Your guide will introduce you to an armed ranger ready to explore the wilderness free from the confinements of your car. Thereafter he will pick you and drive to the lodge for dinner and overnight at The Highlands.

• Activity: Game drives, 1 hour walking safari at crater rim scenery.
• Overnight at The Highlands.

After an easy breakfast we will drive towards the Empakaai crater which lies. It is time to break the vehicle based safari and stretch our legs. After arrival on the crater rim we will hike down with our day packs filled with packed lunch and water to explore the base of this amazing crater, a 30-45 minute hike down through thick mountainous forest with an armed ranger and your guide. There is superb birding on the crater floor and a chance to see other wildlife such as Buffalo. Ascend the crater and drive back to lodge for dinner and overnight.

Note: A reasonable level of fitness and sturdy shoes and day pack required.

After breakfast descend down the world’s largest unbroken crater for extensive game drives, later in the afternoon ascend and drive to Karatu for dinner and overnight at The Manor.
