This tour covers Tarangire National Park, Lake Manyara and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Designed to be very cost effective but yet accommodating in one of our favorite lodges located on the edge of the Ngorongoro forest. Visit the majestic Tarangire National Park, Lake Manyara and the Ngorongoro crater in a truly remarkable way. The experience is relaxing and adventurous.
Game drives in the Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro crater stands as the main activity of the tour. Your guide will take you on extensive game drives in all the parks covering spots seldom reached by many others.
Walking safari (2-3hrs) in Tarangire surely enhances the feeling of being in the nature and being able to view the scenery and wildlife on foot. Many conclude this to be their highlight of the Safari.
The short Maasai cultural interaction (1hr) enables you to have a glimpse of one of the most famous tribes of East Africa where technology has had a little impact to them to date.

Day 1: Lake Manyara National Park
Depart for Lake Manyara National Park at 6.30am from Moshi/ 08.30am from Arusha with packed lunch, approx 4 hrs drive from Moshi/ 2 hrs from Arusha .
After your guide clears with the permits he will drive you through the forest of this pristine park for extensive game drives almost to the edge of the park, here you will witness a remarkable sight, the real hot springs. Continue with game drives along the lake and exit the park in the late afternoon to drive to Karatu for dinner and overnight at Endoro Lodge.

Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater
After Breakfast, drive to the Ngorongoro gate, 0.5 hrs drive and upon clearance with the permits drive through the Ngorongoro conservation area until you start descending down this 600m deep crater, proceed with extensive game drives in the crater floor with packed lunch and later in the afternoon ascend the crater and drive back for overnight at Endoro lodge Karatu.
Optional: Maasai cultural interaction 1 hr

Day 3: Tarangire National Park
After an early breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park with packed lunch, approx 2 hrs drive to Tarangire gate, After clearance with the permits you will be introduced to an armed ranger ready to take you on a short walking safari 2-3hrs, here you will have an exposure to witness a lot more than what you could see from the vehicle. Later return to your vehicle and proceed with game drives until later in the afternoon depart for Moshi/ Arusha/ airport drop off.
