With this safari you will visit all the most famous national parks in Tanzania’s northern safari district, including an extra night in the Serengeti National Park compared to our 6 Days – Complete Northern Circuit, Deluxe.
Your safari will start in Tanzania’s sixth largest national park, Tarangire National Park. An unspoiled beauty that houses most of the animal species that are expected to be seen on a safari.
A little further north, and on the way to the Serengeti National Park, is Lake Manyara National Park. Probably Tanzania’s most beautifully situated national park. With its evergreen forest, Lake Manyara National Park is a touch of green in an otherwise arid landscape.
Then you will continue to one of the world’s most famous nature reserves, the Serengeti National Park, where many of the expectations for a safari will come true. A national park with an abundance of wildlife.
Last but not least, you will visit the World Heritage Site, Ngorongoro Crater. The world’s largest unbroken crater, housing incredible wildlife.

Day 1: Tarangire National Park
After breakfast depart for Tarangire National Park from Arusha with packed lunch, approximately 4.5 hour from Moshi/2 hours from Arusha to Tarangire National Park.
Upon arrival you will be introduced to an armed ranger, who will take you on a guided walking safari lasting approximately 1.5-2 hours. This tour gives you the opportunity to see the nature and wildlife of the national park in a completely different way. After this walking safari return to the vehicle and proceed with game drives in Tarangire National Park, famous for its large population of elephants. In the late afternoon you will leave Tarangire and drive to Maramboi Tented Lodge, where you will spend the night. This Tented Lodge is located in an exquisite area overlooking the Great Rift Valley slope and Lake Manyara, where wildlife roams and offers a great experience.
- Activity: 1.5-2 hours walking safari, Game drives.

Day 2: Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast depart for Lake Manyara National Park approximately 45 minutes drive with packed lunch. Upon clearance with the permits your guide will drive you through the forest of this pristine park for extensive game drives almost to the edge of the park, here you will witness a remarkable sight, real hot springs. Continue with game drives along the lake and exit the park in the late afternoon to drive to Lake Manyara Kilimamoja Lodge in Manyara.

Day 3: Manyara – Serengeti National Park
After breakfast depart for Serengeti National Park. The drive through Ngorongoro Conservation Area is approximately 3-4 hours, here coexist wild animals and the Maasai tribes.
Arrive Naabi hill gate in time for lunch, thereafter your guide will clear out with the permits. Proceed with en route game drives to the heart of Serengeti, Seronera renowned for its abundance of resident wildlife. Continue with game drives until later in the late afternoon you will depart for dinner and overnight right in the heart of Central Serengeti at Ole Serai Luxury Camp – Turner Springs.
This luxury camp has a spectacular and secluded location, giving you the opportunity to fully relax and enjoy the view of the magnificent Serengeti.
- Activity: Enroute game drives, Game drive in the Serengeti Plains.
- Overnight: Ole Serai Luxury Camp – Turner Springs, central Serengeti.
Day 4: Serengeti National Park
After an early breakfast venture into the Serengeti wilderness with packed lunch for full day game drives, with packed lunch. Your guide will find a pristine location for picnic lunch, proceed with game drives until later in the late afternoon depart to Ole Serai Luxury Camp – Turner Springs for dinner and overnight.
Optional Extra: Balloon Safari 05.30 am – 09.30 am, 1 hour Balloon flight at dawn over the Serengeti Plains and bush breakfast, thereafter proceed with game drives.

Day 5: Serengeti National Park
After breakfast you will head out into the plains of the Serengeti for a full day safari with lunch packed, or you can choose to return to camp for hot lunch and a siesta, and later go on an afternoon safari when the sun is not so high. These options can be discussed with your guide.
- Activity: Full day game drives.
- Overnight: Ole Serai Luxury Camp – Turner Springs, central Serengeti.
Day 6: Serengeti – Ngorongoro
At dawn you will venture into the wilderness of the Serengeti Nationalpark for a short safari, where you will experience the morning activity of the wildlife and the stunning sunrise over the endless plains. Your guide will serve a cup of freshly brewed african coffee, while you enjoy this spectacular moment. Continue with game drives until noon hours and depart for Ngorongoro. Upon arrival your guide will introduce you to the armed range, who will take you on a 1 hours walking safari on the Ngorongoro crater rim. Your guide will await you and ready to drive you to Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge for overnight.
Optional Extra: Olduvai Gorge Tour

- Overnight: Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge, Ngorongoro crater rim.
Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast you will descend down the 610 m deep crater for a fantastic safari on its crater floor, with packed lunch. In the late afternoon you will leave the crater and drive back to Moshi/Arusha or your guide will drive you to the airport.
Optional: Maasai cultural interaction (1 hour)
