In terms of menu, it would be nice to discuss the menu with clients before buying any food, especially when clients have high-altitude sickness, they can’t take any food.
It would be nice to give one or two water bottle with hot water for sleeping back while sleep every night. Clients would be very much appreciated if you do it before asking. Every little tips to make clients comfortable during hiking is just super-plus for enjoying kili. Of course, Buga provided the hot-bottle every night when we ask so we could sleep very well.
Many climber don’t expect high-altitude sickness and don’t know how serious it could be; therefore, right before starting climbing, you should advice climbers to consider taking diamax or similar substances.
To avoid the weight for porter, you should choose any food container lighter. For example, instead of glass bottle, pick plastic one. Once you discuss the menu with client, you can avoid things that might need for your specific clients.
